Staff Christmas Event
"We hired Simon from GoRaceNights for a staff Christmas Do. Throughout the booking process he was
incredibly helpful and professional giving us all the information we required promptly. During the
event, he took control and made everything run exceptionally smoothly. He was friendly and
charismatic and ensured everyone had a good time. The digital tote system was fantastic and

"Booked Simon for a charity fundraising race night and it was fabulous!
The pre-event communication was great, Simon was really approachable and supportive and offered
guidance on how to get the best from the night.
On the night he led the group really well, was very informative, friendly and entertaining.

"Absolutely fantastic! Had no idea what to expect and found it hard to drum up interest. I was able
to speak to Simon and obtain guidance on how best to run the night and ways to generate extra money
and he answered many of my stupid messages and was really patient. Luckily my night was a success
with a good number attending . Simon took control and just ran the event throwing in little extra to
generate extra money.. Everyone had a great time and left with smiles on their faces. I raised £848
from sponsorship, tickets sales and the event and can certainly believe that a great deal more is
achievable. Would highly recommend Simon, he made the night what it was."

Money for a great cause
"Fantastic night. Simon is very professional and very helpful, providing clear instructions
before
and during the event to ensure it is as successful as possible. He even helped with
suggestions to
ensure the event went ahead when COVID struck some of the event hosts on the day. Lots of
feedback
from people afterwards saying what a fantastic night it was and £775 raised for a great
cause. First
event I've hosted with Simon and I've also attended two other events with GoRaceNights and

Macmillan Cancer Support – London Marathon 2020
"What a brilliant night it was! Simon and Go Race Nights helped me raise over £2000 in aid of
Macmillan and my journey to running the London Marathon in 2020. Everybody said what a
fantastic
evening they had, it was seamless from start to finish and was just an absolute laugh! Simon
helped
me so much in all of the preparation for the event - advice on selling horses beforehand,
getting
sponsors for each race, advice on hosting a raffle etc. This was extremely useful for a
novice who
has never organised an event before! On the night, Simon helped set up the room to make the
most of
the space and get as much atmosphere as possible. As a host, he is just brilliant! My
friends and
family enjoyed it so much, we will be looking to use Simon for our next big event too. Thank

Raising funds for the Charities – ‘Little Princess Trust ‘and ‘Willow’
"We held our 2nd cancer charity night on Saturday which was a Peaky Blinders night and hired
Simon as
part of the entertainment, it went perfectly with our theme and was a great success playing
a big
part in helping us raise £7804 for our chosen charities a. Simon was absolutely fantastic on
the
night, making sure everything went to plan even allowing me to make a few changes to how he
usually
runs things. Everyone had a fantastic time and got really into cheering on their horses.
From our
first contact via email to phone conversations he was great and so helpful. I would highly
recommend

Raising funds for the charity - ‘Shooting Star Children Hospices’
"A huge thank you to Simon and 'Go Race nights' for making our first ever race night such a
wonderful
event. It was a charity event to raise funds for Shooting Star Children's Hospices - a
wonderful
organisation that supports children, with life limiting conditions, and their families and
one that
is very close to our hearts. Simon was incredibly helpful and supportive both throughout the
preparation and planning for the event and the evening itself. He presented it so
professionally and
gave us great advice and tips in relation to how to present the evening, including timings,
raffle
and auction and how to maximise fundraising prior to the event itself. His auctioneering
skills were

Over the moon
"Apologies for the delay but had to write a review following our successful race night on
20th April.
It was an amazing night, everything went smoothly and we had lots of great feedback. Simon
was
extremely helpful in the run up to the event as well as on the night which made our job
easy. The
final total of money raised from the night was in excess of £1,600!!! A total we could have
only
dreamed about before hand so we were over the moon. Would definitely recommend to everyone!"

Great fun!
"This was our school's first Race Night and we didn't really know what to expect. Simon
was
incredibly efficient and helpful with his explanation, tips and ideas in the lead-up,
especially when we needed to gee some parents along to sign up. The evening itself was
great
fun and extremely well organised. Simon kept things running smoothly at an ideal pace
and
judged the event well regarding timings with the right amount of races too. Everyone
entered
into the spirit of the occasion and it proved to be a healthy fund-raiser as well. It
