Macmillan Cancer Support – London Marathon 2020

"What a brilliant night it was! Simon and Go Race Nights helped me raise over £2000 in aid of Macmillan and my journey to running the London Marathon in 2020. Everybody said what a fantastic evening they had, it was seamless from start to finish and was just an absolute laugh! Simon helped me so much in all of the preparation for the event - advice on selling horses beforehand, getting sponsors for each race, advice on hosting a raffle etc. This was extremely useful for a novice who has never organised an event before! On the night, Simon helped set up the room to make the most of the space and get as much atmosphere as possible. As a host, he is just brilliant! My friends and family enjoyed it so much, we will be looking to use Simon for our next big event too. Thank you so much!"

Raising funds for the Charities – ‘Little Princess Trust ‘and ‘Willow’

"We held our 2nd cancer charity night on Saturday which was a Peaky Blinders night and hired Simon as part of the entertainment, it went perfectly with our theme and was a great success playing a big part in helping us raise £7804 for our chosen charities a. Simon was absolutely fantastic on the night, making sure everything went to plan even allowing me to make a few changes to how he usually runs things. Everyone had a fantastic time and got really into cheering on their horses. From our first contact via email to phone conversations he was great and so helpful. Raising funds for the charity - ‘Shooting Star Children Hospices’

"A huge thank you to Simon and 'Go Race nights' for making our first ever race night such a wonderful event. It was a charity event to raise funds for Shooting Star Children's Hospices - a wonderful organisation that supports children, with life limiting conditions, and their families and one that is very close to our hearts. Simon was incredibly helpful and supportive both throughout the preparation and planning for the event and the evening itself. He presented it so professionally and gave us great advice and tips in relation to how to present the evening, including timings, raffle and auction and how to maximise fundraising prior to the event itself. His auctioneering skills were amazing! We had a wonderful evening, everyone enjoyed it and really entered into the spirit of ' An evening at the Races' and we raised over £6000 or a wonderful cause!! "Apologies for the delay but had to write a review following our successful race night on 20th April. It was an amazing night, everything went smoothly and we had lots of great feedback. Simon was extremely helpful in the run up to the event as well as on the night which made our job easy. The final total of money raised from the night was in excess of £1,600!!! A total we could have only dreamed about before hand so we were over the moon. Would definitely recommend to everyone!"
